So often I hear the question "Are they both yours?" I don't quite understand the question but my typical answer is " yep same mom same dad." The other day I was out at Kaiser and then a quick stop at the store and before noon I was asked 4 different times. "Are they both yours" The last girl who asked probably was just trying to make small talk when i practically yelled "WHY DOES EVERYONE KEEP ASKING THAT?" Poor girl, I guess i just don't get why people phrase the question the way they do. Maybe they should ask "Are they sisters?", or "How far apart are they?" but instead I get " Are they both yours?" I really can not wait to get and when people ask I'll reply "yep all mine just different dads" I will really have fun with that. Or maybe i should phrase it with "I'm not bias, I got around to all the different ethnicities."
4:15am
Thats when it hit. Like a slap across the face, I was awake. I decided to get up and be productive. 4 loads of laundry done, myself and two little tikes washed, dressed and ready to walk out the door, the girls room cleaned, 30 Halloween party favors assembled, dishes cleaned, floor swept and mopped, thank you letters written, and its only 8:28, I'll be able to save the world today with this schedule.
AAHHHH, Can anyone guess what this means. Yep our fear has happened. Korea denied our financial situation and asked us to get a sponsor. A sponsor is basically a co-signer saying that they will help provide if we can not afford to raise this baby. Now i know many of you are wondering why would they ask for us to get a sponsor? Its just the way our income looks on our W-2. Its different because Carlos is clergy so it looks like we make below the poverty line $15,000. Long story short Carlos' parents are filling out tons of paperwork, and overnighting it to Holt so that it will make their shipment of papers that they send to Korea on Fridays. If we miss it then it wont get sent till next Friday. I really think we are going to be planning this trip in 3-5 days from the time we travel. AHHHH

A wonderful Breakfast with the Navarro's
We all went to the new park right by our house.
Sohaila learned how to do the fire pole.
Then she went for the monkey bars.
Yeah, the monkey bars didn't go over so well.
S for Sohaila
She is drugged up on Demerol, in a happy place. She broke her arm, obviously. Both bones are broken on her forearm and one has a fracture.
For all of you wondering I had a blast. I went to my 10 year H.S reunion on Saturday and I loved it. I was SOOOOOO nervous. I didn't know what to expect. I only had one friend going and that made me nervous to. My crew that I hung around with in high school was all a year younger than me so it was weird not to have them there. But none the less it was so much fun. It is just such a surreal moment in time. You spend three or so hours with people you grew up with and then its over. Its not long enough to really get to know anyone and who they have become so pretty much you go back to high school. It was fun. I loved it. Here are some picts for those of you who went to school with me. Well OK there for Hale-Yeah.
There are things that make me happy, and then there are things that give me JOY.
Pure, giddy joy. The kind you feel Christmas morning, the kind of joy that lifts all the worries of life away. It started on Thursday when we left for Fresno (we are going for my 10 year H.S.reunion) we did not leave Riverside until 10pm and we had a 5 hour drive ahead of us, so there was no question we needed caffeine. Starbucks it was. I ordered the pumpkin spice latte. I took one sip and it hit. Fall, cool weather, the excitement of the holidays to come. Its just that time of year that just makes me smile. But that was not all, when i woke up the next morning it was raining! Not So Cal rain, Fresno rain! Oh it was AMAZING! I was ready to worship! There's nothing that says God to me than seasons and Fall is here! Anyways it only gets better we had lunch with our best friends and to top that off it was at Dog House. The only restaurant that knows how how to do Tri-Tip right, and if you are from Fresno you know that there is a difference. Oh the Joy keeps going. We left for the Fresno fair. Nothing screams fall more than the Great Big Fresno Fair and nothing screams the Great Big Fresno Fair more than their cinnamon rolls.
Yumm! I am overwhelmed with JOY by this time. What a wonderful day. It was topped off by spending the nights with the Hales! We woke up and make cookies with the girls.
Then went shopping and finally ended up at my parents ranch.
The girls love it here.
It makes me feel sad that I live in the city, they just thrive here. What a day. I am as full as I can get.

The girls school has a fun game that they get to
partake in each month. They are given a bag with a color
(in Seanna's class) or a letter (in So's class) and they
have to find things that are that color or start with that
letter. Fun Right?
Well, this is where the story begins... We had Carlos'
cousin over for dinner with her boyfriend Josh. We
have never really hung out with Josh and so we were
trying to make the most of the opportunity. The girls were
being a bit needy so I thought it would be a great time to
bring out their bags and send them on a mission. It worked
they were gone for a while. finished first and came
down with a bag full of things. She began to share what she found.
A necklace, some socks, the witch from Sleeping Beauty, some hair
rubber bands and so on. As she is pulling these out we, like
any good parents were praising her and making a big deal about
What a good job she was doing. Then it took a turn for the worse. It
happened, I saw it coming but couldn't stop her in time, she was
right its black, But how can I consider a tiny lacy black thong
appropriate for her "What is Black Bag". My thong! Oh we lost it. Poor Josh,
here we wanted to get to know him and well he got to know me a bit
more than I thought on our first dinner. I guess no place was off limits
in search for "What is Black" And what about Ms. Stalder,
what would of happened if i just trusted and never checked her bag and let
her take it to show and tell. Boy wouldn't that have been fun. Just a fun night at
the whittakers. Dinner anyone?
