It finally happened!

After 9 days it finally happened! I was able to say he is adopted. It actually happened twice today. I was at Walmart and the lady infront of me asked what nationality my husband was. I said Mexican. Carlos thought I should have just stopped there and left her hanging. But I continued to tell her our story. Then later at Kaiser I got my first " Are they all yours" I think i am going to begin the count,  how many times will I be asked that specific question? "Are they all yours"

well it's about time! :)

I'm so proud for you...and of you.
Congratulations.
You are the proud Mama of "all those kids!"
:-)
(it's three, right? me, too.)

And the lovely part is, you get to say, "yes, they are all mine!!!" yippee!

you should get one of those shirts made at the mall with a pic of all 5 of you on it & underneath it, it should say..."yes, they're all mine!"

It will happen forever, and it will get old. I found myself sharing our story early on and now I just say "yup!" and leave it at that. I just have to say that you have a BEAUTIFUL family and your little guy is just scrumptious!

Everyone is just amazed by how beautiful your children are and yet they somehow forget to use thier social filter and all their thoughts come pouring out! To some degree I understand, we cause a commotion where ever we go. It's as if people see something different from the norm and they feel they are entitiled to comment are ask questions. Some mean well, some are just plain rude. No one is not evil and no they are not double trouble... and NO I don't love one more than the other...are you kidding me? A mom of identical quads near my parents home town in SC was once asked..."so how many times did you have to have sex to get all four?"...no lie! What a blessing your family is to those around you. If only I was half the mom you are. You and Carlos are doing a fantastic job raising your family. Your girls are such a delight and joy to be around. I am sure Losiah is going to follow in his sister's footsteps. Miss ya! Oh yea, I have a new cell number...guess that means I need to call you:) Martha

You have a beautiful family. God has given you your family as a witnessing tool and to get people's attention. Now that you have their attention, give them the gospel of God's marvelous grace. Tell them whatever part of that that God puts on your heart at the moment. Before you leave the house, ask God to lead people to you that He wants to hear what you have to say about His grace. Go for it girl and God bless.

We see your family as God sees your family. Your family if a GIFT. You are all so beautiful! Take that gift and go forward. Give HIM the glory and in so doing, you are living according to His will.

YES! They're all yours! I'm so excited for you guys. This is the first chance I've had to sit down and read through your blog and see pictures of Losiah! He is just beautiful!
I have gotten that same question countless times... now, the say it and stare at my belly and I get the oh so not funny "You DO know how that happens right?" Nope... why don't you fill me in! HA!
Anyway, enjoy your beautiful family and I will check in again soon... if not before, I hope Losiah has a fabulous first Christmas... I know he will!
Love you!
Renee
