A blogging epiphany
This week I have learned a little bit of who I am in this blogging world.
I am not a theologian nor are my post on any type of "controversial" topic that could bring people here to debate.
I am not a surfer of the internet that finds random video's, jokes, or other stories out there. I am a mom of three! It's all I got just to check my email and RSS reader yet alone surf the web.
I am not News blogger, you wont find the lastest gossip, world news or anything along those lines here. Again, I am a mom of three. Heck it was a week before I found out that Anna Nicole died. I just dont watch TV unless its on my Tivo.
I AM a blogger that journals my life through her lens. I would not call my blog a photo blog, but I have noticed that when I do not have a camera around I do not blog. So that is why I have been so quite around here. I have not had new photos therefore I have had nothing to blog. Soon that should change!
What kind of blogger are you?
Well, I'm not as talented as you are with the lens (which reminds me, how did you learn your photography skills? natural talent or classes?), so I typically just give day to day updates. Not very exciting, eh?
btw, our dossier to Ethiopia was approved, so we are officially waiting. Sooo excited!

I'm with you. I just journal my families comings and goings, and funny moments. In fact, that is what I really like about your blog too!

I’m a BS blogger. I just blog about BS. I am not a theologian or politician so my blog is not a place you go to learn something. Just a place to enjoy BS.

There are so many different kinds of blogs. I come to yours when I want to feel good about life and when I need a lift in spirits. I love the variety. I can't seem to get away from politics in mine. I guess that's just what comes out. I've learned a lot of humility from my faux pas, and that's O.K. I've met people from all over the world. This is a truly amazing medium.

Isn't it funny that Doogie Howser had it all along. Remember at the end of each epoisode he would turn his computer on a journal.
It funny that as bloggers we write thinking that someone cares. Maybe we should be called authors? Life's News Anchors? Time Waisters?
I started blogging after reading a book about police stories. I thought people would get a kick out of hearing what the po-po see/hear everyday.

I have to have shots to accompany a post. I will go look for something on the net if I don't have on to go along with what I am saying. Mine is just life, friends, family and what God is doing in me.
I don't have a high reader population, but the reason I do it is because it is a documentation of this walk through the years and my heart in it. Whether anyone reads it or not, I go back over the last 2 years often and it is so good to be reminded.

I'm surprised anyone visits my blog. I do it cuz it's fun and it gives me a place to share a bit about our daily happenings with friends and family that we don't see often. Pictures are apart of who I am and so they must be there to.
Get out that camera girl!

i'm a very random blogger, if you haven't already gathered that. i blog for a few different reasons...for my family in different parts of the U.S. to see what's going on with us, also, i kinda think of blogging kinda like an "online scrapbook" (i do do real scrapbooking sometimes too, but not nearly as much as i blog), i just want to be able to look back as the years go by cuz i know how much we do forget that i didn't think i would forget. also, just to get quirky thought/comments out there.

I realize I'm a LITTLE behind finding this post, but yeah. I had this same realization only 2 weeks after you. Someone just told me I should title my blog "Vomitblog" since all I've talked about are sick kids for a week. Hey, write about what you know eh? My husband and I found Los' blog(thru Scott Hodge) about the time you were picking up Losiah. We became intrigued by adoption and have no idea where to start. Thanks for sharing your family with us.
And I read "The Thesis of Sohaila". You are an AMAZING woman. Wow.
