We went to a great class last night taught by our dear counselor Bobby and her husband Robin Thomas. It was great! It talked about how to handle stress in the ministry. Can anyone relate or did you need to be there? I just realized that this is what I need. I need to take a time out and stop. I need to go some place where I can connect with God. (Thats out doors for me) and to add a little spunk I need Carlos by my side. I need a Vacation! This picture was in Kauaii two years ago. Thats what I need!
Sohaila " Mommy I went pee pee like boys do."
Mom "OH, and how is that? Can you show me"
Sohaila "Sure mom like this"
Sohaila climbs up on the toilet with her knees on each side of the seat.
Sohaila "See like this"
Mom " And how did it work for you? Are your pants wet?"
Sohaila " Yeah, my panties too."
Mom "Well, lets get cleaned up and next time I think we should sit down on the potty. Girls just are not made to be able to go pee pee like that."
Sohaila " Mom, I want to be a boy, they are cool"
And people ask me what I do when I stay at home. HA!
This week I have learned a little bit of who I am in this blogging world.
I am not a theologian nor are my post on any type of "controversial" topic that could bring people here to debate.
I am not a surfer of the internet that finds random video's, jokes, or other stories out there. I am a mom of three! It's all I got just to check my email and RSS reader yet alone surf the web.
I am not News blogger, you wont find the lastest gossip, world news or anything along those lines here. Again, I am a mom of three. Heck it was a week before I found out that Anna Nicole died. I just dont watch TV unless its on my Tivo.
I AM a blogger that journals my life through her lens. I would not call my blog a photo blog, but I have noticed that when I do not have a camera around I do not blog. So that is why I have been so quite around here. I have not had new photos therefore I have had nothing to blog. Soon that should change!
What kind of blogger are you?
One of Korea's traditions is to shave the babies head when they are 100 days old. Well we were not around then so I thought I'd do it now. No, his hair was very long in some spots and short in the others, but to thin to trim. So as my good friend scarlet suggested... " Just start all over" And we did.
Sometimes I sit back and think how is Carlos able to communicate my thoughts and feelings so well, I guess that 's what comes with being together for 10 years. I can not compete with my mans post for today. It is beautifully written every word he wrote also dwells deep within my soul. I hope you enjoy whats been on our minds.
Well, ok I don't own the land or the tree but for 10 years now I have claimed it as mine. This tree is on the ride down from the local mountains of Fresno. So when I worked at the ski resort up there I saw the most beautiful sunset behind this tree. It stands alone on top of this hill. It is amazing. This past week when I drove past it when I went to my parents I decided to add it to my list. I would like to hike to it and have a picnic under it. So if your from Fresneck and know who owns or how I can find out who owns it so I can get an approval to climb up there that would be great! isn't my tree Great!
