Quote of the Day...
Because of the death of my dad, the girls are aware of death and talk often about Heaven. We were driving in the car and the girls were talking among themselves about doggies dying. The were rambling about how they go to doggie heaven and then the question came. " Mommy is there a doggie Jesus" ?
Answer anyone. Can you help me. I just laughed. H
i bet the disciple Peter is in charge of all the animals up there.

I just tell my son that in heaven you can have anything that makes you happy and if having your long lost pets with you makes you happy, God will make sure they are there with you.

We're anticipating the death of our beloved cat Goofy. I had the same question and was told to tell the kids "God loves and cares for everything he creates so I am sure that He has prepared a place for them." We tell the kids to be gentle with Goofy because he's an old cat. My 5-yr old's compassionate response "then we need a new cat". My 4 yr old son about our 9 yr old dog "King's too old. We need a new dog". Nice.

We like to think that our dog Georgie is a christian because we leave the radio on 104.7 The Fish for him whenever we leave the house. I can't be positive, though, because he hasn't really completely turned away/repented from his "sins."
