So Cal in the ATL
Oh there is just nothing like being around people who know you and know the culture you come from. I was able to let my guard down and be me completely. What a great night!
So we laughed at dinner because earlier this year we were at their house for dinner and they asked this question, "so what are you guys doing this summer? Do you have any plans?" I then go into a 15 minute rant about my family reunion, our camping trips, blah, blah, blah. Then we turned the question on them and their response made me feel so lame. " We are moving to Africa to be Missionaries" Yeah they squashed my lame attempt to share what my summer was going to entail. Anyways now they are on their way overseas and we are in Atlanta. I guess my summer ended a little more dramatic then we had planned. It was so good to see them!
Very excited you got to hang with the Salleys. Hope a little So Cal brought to you felt good. We promise to TRY to visit too. Someday.

Isn't it amazing what simply "being known" does to our soul?
