The little things that make me happy
So it has been a rough week. PMS did not help the fact that I now live across the country from all of my friends and family, so Carlos knows how to make me happy. Its called immigrants! There is just something about being around people who do not speak English that makes me feel at home. We went to a Korean market and I was beaming!
Kamsahamnida Carlos!

I'm glad you found something to cheer you up.
I posted this a few days ago but, forgot to let you know.

Have you been to the Dekalb Farmer's Market yet? What a great place! Carlos should be able to help you find it... on East Ponce.

You will LOVE it... it's always been one of my favorite things about Atlanta! The sights, sounds, smells, tastes... it's great!

Hahaha. Immigrants. And to think, people are doing all they can to banish them from our sight and here you are saying they make you happy. Hehheeee. It's the culture that you miss...it's the culture that the immigrants bring with them that is special. I feel you. My friend moved to Illinois and her biggest fear was that there would be no brown people around. So when she was there on a visit before she moved, she asked a bus boy at a restaurant and he directed her to the local Walmart! Bingo. That was where she found all the brown people!

Oh Heather, I'm totally laughing. I feel you on this one. Where I am at people are like full on just German or Polish or whatever. I haven't met anyone yet that is more than maybe two races. Thank God for the immigrants making me feel a little less like a forienger. Luv ya.
