still thinks she is in So Cal.

hates coats. sweaters anything long sleeved.  She want short sleeves at all times. She is in typical So Cal attire here. You know, you wear a scarf because of the time of year not because you actually need it. Yesterday we went to the doctors and as we were walking in some big woman with attitude and a rolling neck decided to yell "Where's your coat, she need a coat on, why don't she have  a coat" I just smiled and kept walking. She is not going to die from walking to the car to the building with only a sweat-shirt on.  What was funny is that she had a scarf, mittens and hat with ear muffs. Really she was warm. Any how it's just a fight I gave up on. She wont keep long sleeves on so I give up.

Such a pet peeve of mine...

Complete strangers telling me how to raise my children.

I agree with you.

There are some fights you just let them win for the time being.

i too have given in to many of kaia's wardrobe /style decisions...if it's not gonna kill 'em, why fight. save it for something that really matters, huh. the other day kaia insisted on wearing a little skirt & a short sleeve shirt on a pretty chilly day, so i told her she's gonna be cold. she insisted that she wouldn't be. off we went with kaia in her chosen outfit into the chilly, WINDY day. the second the wind hit her, she screamed, "i wanna go back inside!" that'll teach her! :)

Whateve, she can wear what she wants.
Gotta love when people put in their opinions without being asked.

I have three boys, and my 12 year old has a love with his flip flops. When it was 35 degrees and raining outside I convinced him he might want to rethink his shoe choice:) But I helped him with that decision not another parent!

That's so funny. Don't you love when random strangers feel the need to give their opinion? The best is when you are very pregnant or have a newborn with you, and strangers ask you about everything from breastfeeding to your choices in childrearing philosophies, and then tell you what they think. Seanna is adorable by the way.

I love that she's wearing a long sleeved sweater on your masthead photo! :)
