Lions, and tigers and bears
Well ok so maybe only lions but there were 10 in all! We finished our very emotional and exhausting week with two days of detox time out on the Nile! Yep that's right folks where baby moses floated in a basket. I have to say that going on a safari has always been a dream of mine and this trip brought me to tears every time I allowed my mind to stop and think about where I was and what I was doing. It was incredible! I really felt like I was at disneyland, but it was real! We went on a "Jungle Cruise" and minus the men climbing up the totem pole everything was exactly the same! Here are some pictures of our amazing time!

Absolutely Amazing! Isn't God so creative.

How wonderful! it is so cool you bloggersbunch went someplace together to restore your soul. God's amazing diversity in creation is evident - personally I'm more afraid of the baboons than the other things. Hooray for safari (sounds so Katherine Hepburn and African Queen).

wow, i am so jealous of you. i would live there if i could. well i just got finished going through your blog in Africa and let me tell you, i'd sponsor a kid in a second if i wasn't struggling to pay next months rent. but i'm going to try anyways. and i'm really glad you were able to share your experience with all of us because it never hurts to remind us of how lucky and fortunate we all are. even if we don't feel like it at times, i can never compare to those kids. even if i was homeless and on the streets it still doesn't even come close. it's just a entirely different situation. sorry i wasn't able to follow along sooner but we just finished the busiest week of the year and i'm getting behind in school. but no worries because u'll be visiting soon. i'm so excited to see you and the family and get to hear all the stories from your incredible adventure. i have a few but i'm sure they wont compare. your blog makes me want to contact my old African friend and go visit her some how. well hope the move in is going smoothly and wish i could be there to help. i'll be there in a couple of months though. better leave a little corner for me:) love ya and miss you dearly, Lol. jess
