I keep looking at these pictures and keep thinking this
is not real. I am not here with these kids, in this land,
there is no way that this is real. I have been so blessed
by this country. These people have taught me what it
is like to be pure, and full. I will forever be changed.
There is no way I can actually experience what you have, unless I go there. Yet, this week has changed me as well, and I now have a deeper desire than ever before to take a mission trip to a country where I can love on children.

Your posts have been beautiful and humbling. Thank you for sharing this part of your life with the world. I truly believe in the phrase "It's takes a Village to raise a child". Hopefully together, we can all come together as a village and raise these children's spirits and give them hope. Your journey has been amazing and because of such, my husband and I have gladly welcomed (sponsored) 4 year old Muvunyi Adolphe. Country, Rwanda. It's only been since Feb 15th, but we pray and think of him often. Thank you to you and the other bloggers for connecting us to him.

it is very, very real and i am SOOOO excited/encouraged that you were able to experience it. each person's africa-experience is different, but each time someone has one, i feel just a bit more sane and more related to that person. i love it. the beauty/sorrow/joy will be with you forever and it is so worth it. hope you get to go back.

What Christ accomplishes in our hearts in such a short period of time is amazing. What a joy to be able to join Him for a time, to be touched by His Spirit as He touches others through you, and to know Him in a new way. An invaluable gift.
