Family Night #5 Movies

Welcome to the Movies...Welcome to the show.
We threw together a great movie night for
our family night tonight!

We made homemade pizza for dinner.

We made tickets and had a concession stand, where
everyone could get candy and popcorn as long as they paid  the big bucks!

Nani was herself and complaining about how long the
line was taking to buy the popcorn.

I even used some old centerpieces to lift one of the couches
off of the ground!
It was a great night!

Y'all are awesome.

That's all.

:-)

Nate saw these pics and got jealous and threw a fit saying he wants to come down for family night ASAP!!!!!

What movie was shown at the Whittaker Theatre?

WHAT a fun idea! we want to do this for our seminary... but an outdoor movie - during the summer.

maybe we'll bring the couches outside!!!

I'm so stinkin' inspired by your family night themes. Thanks for sharing them, Heather.

write the book. please. i promise you'll make millions. who cares if you're coping. shoot, coping is an art all in itself.

Shh, the movie was 50 First Dates. Don't tell the kids that it was a grown up movie. They love all the animals in it! H

Your a great MOM!!!

oooh that looks like fun! it was soooo great to meet you and kiddos. if you are ever out in colorado, please let me know!

ooh and great meeting Nani too!

a few posts ago, you asked what are some fav themed parties we've been too. gotta say that our best parties have been "camping" family nights. Tents, lanterns and flashlights.smores and hotdogs on the fire...spiced up with some good ole guitar and singing! Pitching the tent inside is great fun. The other favorite party theme for us is pirates!!! Complete with a scavenger hunt, tattoos, and fish (fish sticks for us). I can think of a zillion but thats a few fun ones you can throw together :)

What fun for the family...that pizza looks so, so, so yummy!

Hi Heather,
Fellow Pastor's wife here (and I use the term "pastor's wife" loosely :). A good friend of mine from Central Christian out in Vegas sent me a new blog link, it's pretty cool. Thought you would enjoy the discussion. It's intended for women who's husbands are in leadership in ministry. If you get a chance, you should check it out. You might have even seen it.

I've warned my husband...even if we follow the whittakers and adopt a beautiful baby...I DO NOT have the creative blood that runs through heather's veins...just a warning.

love the curtains!

Very, very impressive!! You are most definitely creating memories for the kids.
