I kept noticing birds flying to our wreath and today we found out why...
Carlos had to take the pictures because even on a stool I was to short. But how cute are they! I am so excited to have some babies around here! H

Oh, I love it! What a sweet thing. It will be fun to watch the eggs hatch.
One warning, though: We had a robin build her nest on a supporting beam under our deck one year. Then, because robins are pyscho, she would take us on every time we dared walk out the door. She dive-bombed and cheeped and hopped at us. It was freaky.
thanks for the Amish info. we will look it up and try and find it this summer. cute little egg babies :) we are waiting for our referral from Korea...and are looking into tickets. i dont want to be there too long, how many days would you guys say was "perfect". we will be leaving our 3 boys behind. I kinda want to see the city, shop of course have a day with her there and get back to life with our daughter...? thanks for the reply
So much fun! Our friends here had the same thing happen. They now have 3 tiny birds chirping on thier front door. They are sooo cute. However, they have one protective momma! Never knew birds could get so aggressive! Triplets:) Enjoy your new little ones! Oh...you at least have to admit you are a FANTASTIC cook:) Call it what you must girl...but you can throw some amazing dishes together like it was nothing... while the rest of us are still trying to find the ingredients in the recipe! Love the new pics too:) m
How fun! And I just read recently that it is a myth that touching the nest or babies would cause the mother to disown them. So...if you can avoid the protective momma maybe y'all can swipe one for a little cuddle!
thanks! I forgot that in your videos from Korea that ya went out to the country...that was a fun one to watch. My boys laughed so hard at Carlos, they cried. I'm glad you survived that little excursion because I honestly will be freaked out to venture much further than the city/Holt. I am only a city girl if I'm with a city girl....otherwise I'm big wimp. We will look into some neat stops outa town! Cant wait....26 months is getting really old and kinda sad to have another Mother's day go by..but am fully trusting God for our Molly Sis :)
So I learned what type of bird babies we have...they're house finches and they're probably going to stick around for about a 4-6 weeks. I love our birdies, but I hate all the poopy that mama and babies leave behind!
We've gotten pictures of the little boogers, sooo cute. Have yours hatched yet?

But worth it.

That's crazy because:
a) A bird made a nest behind our alarm (think red fire alarm) on our house.
b) A bird made a nest and laid eggs on my church Pastor's wreath as well.
Spring IS in the air!
