Family Night #6 Backwards Night
We set the table on the ground, had balloons hanging down vs floating, and we had the chairs turned backwards.
My centerpiece.
We ate dessert first!
And of coarse the dessert was upside down.
Sorry about the picture, but the kids got bun dogs. And a 7 down.
And of coarse we all got dressed backwards!
I actually had some games planned for backwards night but the cold got the best of me.
H
My girls would think this was hilarious. Losiah like "umm...the camera's over here. What's wrong w/ you people?"
Hope you know we're all going to steal this idea.

I don't think you have to worry about one morning of missed breakfast. You are so darn creative to keep doing this week in and week out. Glory girl, you're doing a great job being a mom.

hey heather...i check your blog sometimes but have never left a comment! your family nights are the best! you are super creative! i bet your kids are loving this. i might just have to steal some of your ideas :) actually, do you have a certain website that you get ideas from or is this all from your smart brain?!

I love your creativity. I was going to say that the bun dogs were my favorite, but I can't pick a favorite. I think it's all great! Can't wait to see what you come up with for next week. :)

You really should compile all this into a book or something. At least that way you can get paid when all of us steal your ideas! (I'm already planning a pretend pajama party for my daughter, and I LOVE backwards night!)
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I will think of you when I In-N-Out. :)

Losiah was cheating. =/
Really clever ideas. Who's the creative person in the family again?

The 7-downs are fantastic!

How do you come up with these GREAT ideas? My husband also loves them and wants to adopt the ideas. So I agree with everyone else - you need to publish a book to share your creative mind. I know you would sell 1000 the first day (from all your regs)!
You are the bomb!!

Heather, you are so, so creative. I love the simplicity of your ideas, because they even seem do-able to someone like me.
We are definitely going to have to do one of these soon. I am inspired.
Hope you feel better today. I've got my Sweetcheeks home today with excessive snot and other "stuff" going on. Get well soon!

Hi Heather, we don't know each other, but like so many, I'm sure, I found you from Carlos's blog. (My hubby's on staff with him.) Anyway, I just wanted to say what an amazing mom you seem to be, and how I'm so impressed with your creativity. We're expecting our first little girl in a couple of months, and I'm so inspired by you!!

what fun memories you are making!!
and i thought it might be a h/c for your girls, but didn't comment. and for locks of love! how great for them to give in such a concrete way at such a young age! and i'll bet combing hair on sunday mornings will be like a cold lemonade on a hot day. :-)
(...and just between you and me, the correct spelling is "course" unless you mean something rough, which would be "coarse." just want to help a sista be her best ;-) and i always remember a study saying that intelligence is not linked to how a person spells, no matter how particularly smart i want to appear :-))
