NO!!!!!!!!
Sohaila gets off the bus today and has her mouth closed, but has the biggest grin. I ask her what... and she shows me this
And guess what I did. I started to cry. I am not a sappy woman. I don't cry much but as I walked home I had a moment. Why? Because my first baby, lost her first tooth and I was not there. I know there will be other teeth, tons to be exact, but the fact is she is my baby and i missed a milestone.
But she is cute!
I love it when kids start to lose their teeth. They are so cute with all the awkward spaces.

Thank you for making me feel "normal" my family thinks I'm crazy when I cry, at these kinds of milestones. Feeling for ya :) And she does look darn cute, I especially love it when the 2 front teeth are gone...That was so long ago for both of my boys...Oh no, I think I'm gonna get teary at the thought.......

My oldest lost her first at school too. Well, I use the word lost loosely. It was loose, she pulled it herself.
I cried as well. We are so hormonal.
I just did a post on what the tooth fairy does at houses across America. Would love to hear what your family does.

Angelina lost her first without me. I was quite sappy about it as well.

And now you face the Tooth Fairy dilemma. How much will she leave?
:-)
(She's all the more adorable without that tooth. My six-year-old last SIX teeth between November and March. Apparently, once they start to fall, they all start to go.)

Just found ya through somewhere else.
I totally get what you mean by 1st baby/1st tooth.
Your kids sure are purty!

Oh, how exciting! Is the Tooth Fairy visiting?

Oh the process of letting go is so painful! The tears are good, Heather, they are the connecting glue that reminds her there is a person who loves her SO much she CRIES at lost teeth. Let 'em flow, baby.
I'm seeing my first baby off to her first Prom tomorrow. Now I think it will be Daddy who cries.

cutie toothless girl! No worries on missing out because just think of how excited she was all day at school to come home and tell YOU :) you cant be too hard on yourself because you did make the haircutting event. so how long have they wanted to donate to Locks of Love? Those are some amazing locks girls!

Oh but Heather, we discovered a new delight tonight: torturing the poor date before they took off for prom! He was quaking in his boots, and David and I are pretty mild. I can simply imagine the poor chap who comes courting Carlos' daughter! See what you have to look forward to???!!!!
