The birds have hatched. I took some pictures, but I can not tell what is what. Hopefully soon we can say that they are cute, but right now they are ugly!

New baby birds really did get the short end of the cuteness stick, didn't they? It's fun to see how quickly they change, though!
If I had baby birds like that in a nest that I was aware of anywhere within a half a mile radius of my house then I would so be stalking them day and night.
The mama bird would have to get a restraining order against me. Ugly as they are, they are irrestistable or however you spell that.

Oh my gosh! We have been watching a cardinal at work and everyday I think of you and your baby birds and ours hatched today, too!! How cool!!!

Wow, life is amazing!
I hope your kids can see them! I remember watching baby birds grow up when I was a kid and I learned so much!

We have a tadpole project going on at our house...Spring is in the air and science lessons abound.
