This is why I love Georgia!

This past Friday Carlos and I went out with Seanna to do some errands.  Seanna and I dropped Carlos off at the doctors office. He had to finish some work from this day, and while we waited we found this wonderful park. It was so cool that after we picked Carlos up, we went right back and had a little bonding time with #2!

The park was amazing. It was so green and had  great
walk ways and bridges.

We explored some more and found this great railroad bridge.

It then opened up to this great field... (Seanna picked the pose)

Which was perfect to do some cartwheels!

This park even had toys that I have never seen...

This little bucket thing you sit in and by the shape of
it and the gravity of your feet it just keeps going round
and round.

This thing was different too. It also swung you around
by the way it was shaped. So fun!

I love moments like this. We had a crazy day of errands,
but we stopped for a second and look what we have now
wonderful memories. H

I am glad to know I am not the only mom who does cartwheels with her kids!

what park was it?

Are you wearing wedges while doing cartwheels?!? You're crazy!! But at least you're being fashionable well out doorsy ; )

The park was I think... Admore, Aldamore, I think it started with A and ended by more and was down by a hospital... maybe piedmont?
Sorry that was not much help. H

Oh yeah, Ardmore. You're right. It's by Piedmont. Jenn (My wife) and I have been doing weekly park picnics around the area. I think I will show her this one very soon. I used to park my ambulance there and relax between calls "Back in the day".

Also Check out Lullwater Conservatory at Emory University (Clifton Road). Awesome park.

What a great interlude! Looks like you had the park to yourselves and your beautiful second child had y'all to HERself. Perfection indeed.

I'm so taking Ellie and Josh there...where is it located?

Could we please mention that SEANNA TOOK THAT SECOND PICTURE!!!

Those are the best cartwheelin shoes I have ever seen. . .you got style =) And Seanna has some mad photo skills!!

Looks like a great break from the everyday stuff! I always love your photos too... so real life!

You want to see something funny? Visit the url below to see our boys playing on both your spinny things in a park our family visited last summer in Rome....Italy. Weird, huh? I've never seen them here.

Looks like a fun day. Kudos for giving one child some special time. Not easy with three, I know. But extremely valuable.

I am so jealous of that park!! We LOVE going to parks and even drive out to other cities to find some new ones... I don't think we could drive that far to see that one though - but really loved the pictures! :)

I was just in Atlanta this weekend for the first time ever. It is so beautiful! Didn't have much time to go exploring but did have dinner at Geisha House in Midtown. Great restaurant and beautiful area!

did seanna take the photo of you and carlos? if so, she did a swell job...

i'm so glad you guys stop to make those memories. i need to be sure and do that with my little guy.
