GA vs CA and GA won!
I have to say that since the past 10 years while I lived down to So Cal I have not been able sit in my front yard and do fireworks. But times have changed my friend! It was so great! We had a great night and the best part of all... MY PARENTS ARE HERE! Which is gigantic! This is their first real fly to a destination vacation! I am so excited! H
How did you capture the amazing sparkler pics?

The one of his name is especially amazing, I think. All of them are great shots.

And we are in "fire season" here in LA County, (does it ever really go away)? I wouldn't light a sparkler here for anything! Great photos and what memories you are making!

As a transplant myself I would have to agree that the Fireworks could definately be the pusher in the SoCal vs the DeepSouth competition.
Great pics...can't wait to read about your other days of love.

Up here in NorCal they didn't even do any "real" fireworks. All the firework shows were canceled due to fire danger.
So yeah, I guess GA can have that win. Bummer.

Fireworks are legal in the town we just moved to. There were families lined up down the streets doing fireworks all evening. The whole city was one big firework display.

good times Heather! Glad you had some fam around. We were out in the deep country for fireworks....at one point in the little production over the pond while the garage speaker blasted "proud to be an American.." I was waiting for the country folk to stand or something but they were enjoying their pie too much. We had fun too :)

Awesome sparklers! I love that Kiara and Seanna were wearing the same thing, and that we bought it for them to wear 2 1/2 years ago! We definitely got our money's worth!

Leave the shutter open, I believe, is how you capture those pictures.
