True confessions
Carlos watched the kids when I went to a Beth Moore Conference this weekend. Losiah woke up on Saturday with blood all over his face and like any good blogging family we captured it on film. Later that night we were looking at the pictures and I just had this feeling that I needed to see what actually went down while I was gone.
H- "Please tell me that you cleaned him up"
C- "Yeah I did" ( I just knew he was telling the truth, however I still needed to keep prying.)
H- "What does that mean. How long was he with blood on his face"
C- "Well he did stay that way for a little bit. I wiped it off when I changed his diaper"
Sounds good right?
H- "And when did you change his diaper"
C- (a long pause... You could see him contemplating his answer) "Oh, 2ish"
H- "WHAT! Not only are you saying he had blood all over his face all day but you did not change his diaper till 2!"
There is nothing like true confessions of a dad. H
Steele did that once, I freaked, but now it happened a few times. I think he just gets nose bleeds or picks it till it bleeds but which ever it's more grose then life threatening.

Random - my cousin went to that conference. Was it called Deeper Still? She wrote about it on her blog. She said it was awesome. Hope you had fun!

Ok - my 2 year old wakes up like that frequently. The only problem with not wiping it up is that it STINKS! It's really nasty!

Those of you asking about the conference. check out my blog (shameless plug, sorry H). I have a video on there of pics taken by a Lifeway photographer and he put together a video. Just awesome stuff!!!!
If you have not been to a Deeper Still conference...you need to. Boy oh boy you need to!!

Wow that one made me laugh. Ahh the work of a mom is never done and unfortunately it's normally twice the work if you leave the kids with the dad. I've learned that one the hard way. We are truely amazing creatures in the fact that way can keep the house clean get dinner on the table and feed bath and cloth are children all at the same time. Maybe it's just a learned fine tuned skill.
