The North Georgia State Fair
I think I will keep you captive all day by periodically posting pictures. Our friends Mark and Stephanie were the first people who invited us over for dinner when we first moved to Georgia. Since then they have continued to introduce us to the south. Tonight just might have topped me off!
Lets set the scene...
Tonight at the North Georgia State Fair... We played a game with rats!
We put our kids on rides that went in circles all night.
And we took every opportunity for a good picture!
Fair Season is a ton of fun! I am not sure if you have looked at my blog lately, but I have a few pics of our trip to the York Fair...it was nuts! =)

A game with rats? Real rats? I'd love to see pics of that. I love rats (had them as pets). Hope it was fun!

Eeeewwww--carnies! As a southerner I can tell you that we AVOID the fair like the plague! It's like going to Wal-Mart at midnight on a Saturday...scary,scary people!

Love the cow picture. You should come visit the Iowa State Fair...it is HUGE! And, we have a cow carved out of butter each year. Life size. Oh, and one year the lady carved the last supper. Yes, out of butter. :)

hey, just wondering if this served as this week's family night. also, i'm wondering how you guys choose when to go out as a family. carnivals are money pits, and i'm just curious how you determine where to spend your disposable income. we have a hard time allowing ourselves outings at all, and i need some perspective.
