35 Degrees At Dollywood Equals Tears!
You know it had to be bad if the Whittaker's don't have a picture of the kids and their melt down due to the cold. We were having a good day. It was FREEZING but bearable until the sun went down. After that it all went down hill and fast!
She was so serious,
I had a mom moment when my girls got to go on a ride all by themselves. They must stop growing.
My little man and I made quite the riding team.
I just now realized there was some random kid on our side, next to Mark. Who was that kid?
This was how bad it was. The men went to the gift shop and bought gloves and hats! It was so cold. Dollywood equals FANCY! H

We have never been to Dollywood but Gatlinburg is where we where snowed in with two small children and a cat. What an adventure. Heather - I have no idea how you are able to keep up with everyone's blogs and comment! I am amazed! Looks like you have had another fine adventure. Enjoy!

I was wondering if you knew what you were getting yourself into when Chris told me y'all were going to Gatlinburg...but I knew you were going to be in good company and able to do your outdoor thing and really that is all that matters:) It is an interesting place...kinda like Myrtle Beach yet in the mountains...or poor mans Vegas? Anyhoo...there is the AMAZING place to eat french toast. Hope you made it there? I would drive ALL the way there just to eat it...oh wait, we did...this past November:)and we "looked" at a timeshare....b/c it was free and they gave us a free weekend:)m
oh- found a house...3 master bedrooms...one for you, us and the Culins...only a cool 2.6M! are you in:)? 3 car garage but only 2 boat docks so we would have to share that:) really, we should go look. Oh- and I thought you were kidding about the castle just down the hill from you...um nope, you were NOT exagerating! wow. OK, I'm done now:) m

How fun. My kiddies love DW...especially the water park in the summer. Just big enough for them to enjoy. I'll have to tell a funny story about my girls at Splash country (my other gilrs:) but it is an email only story. haha!

We live in East TN. Close enough to have (at one time) season passes to Dollywood. Normally, I'm not crazy about tourist traps, but I love to go to Dollywood with the fam. I'm a fan of Dolly Parton (especially her bluegrass CD's). We were able to see her at Dollywood a couple years back when she was made an honorary Girl Scout (we were in scouts at the time).
Love Dolly & Dollywood. There's no shame in my game. :)
