We have had our lives flipped upside down. Now that Carlos is self employed, I need to learn how to do Family Nights on a different schedule. 9-5 no longer works, and our Family Nights have been lagging.
We had one day, yep ONE DAY where we will all be together. So we made the most of it. We each picked one thing each to do that day! Here is what we did.
Seanna chose to ride bikes down by the River.
I chose to have a picnic at our favorite local pond.
Sohaila wanted to play at the park...
Losiah chose to go get a treat!
And finally Carlos chose to go rest! :)
Its simple easy and great family time! H

Awesome! Glad God provides these times for you.

Kerry you are joking right? Carlos left Buckhead back in August but we decided he was gonna do that back in May. I guess it feels like it has been forever! But yep he is now the, recording, coaching, worship leading, consulting guy. :)

I love these family-idea-combo themes you've been doing. It's perfect! Let each person pick one thing? Genius!

were you at the same park as us?! We too had a "family day" instead of night...with my crazy work schedule and randy only off two days a week (not weekend) we do what we can...we took the bikes to the park, had a picnic and watched a guy fly fishing in the river (and he caught one too...it was THIS big!) Then it was home for family movie night~ the girls' choice...I am learning that it is the little things that make the biggest difference!
